2. What data we process
When ordering a repair via the form
- first name and surname,
- phone number,
- e-mail address (optional),
- type, brand and model of the device,
- the requested service (for example battery replacement or system reinstallation),
- description of the fault,
- preferred date and time of visit,
- IP address and time of submission (to protect the form from abuse).
In the booking system
The data from the form is stored in a database on our hosting so that we do not lose the order and can see the planned appointments in the calendar. Only authorised employees access the database after logging in with a name and password. We may add an internal note to an order and assign a technician.
When a device is accepted for service
- data given in the service protocol (identification of the device, serial number, description of the fault and visible damage),
- billing details, if you request an invoice.
We do not process data stored on your device. We access it only to the extent necessary for diagnostics and repair and keep it confidential. We do not copy or retain it.
3. Purpose and legal basis of processing
We process your data for the following purposes:
- Handling the order and carrying out the repair — the legal basis is the performance of a contract under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Providing the data is necessary; without it we cannot contact you or carry out the repair.
- Keeping accounts and fulfilling tax obligations — the legal basis is compliance with a legal obligation under Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (in particular Act No. 431/2002 Coll. on Accounting).
- Handling complaints — compliance with a legal obligation under Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.
- Scheduling appointments and organising technicians’ work — the legal basis is the performance of a contract, or taking steps prior to entering into a contract, under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
- Protecting the contact form from abuse — legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, namely preventing the automated sending of unsolicited messages.
We do not use your data for marketing purposes, we do not send newsletters and we do not carry out profiling or automated decision-making.
4. How long we keep the data
- Orders in the booking system — 12 months from the agreed appointment. After that we remove them from the database.
- Orders that did not lead to a repair — 6 months from the last communication.
- Service protocols and data on completed repairs — for the duration of the warranty period (24 months) and then 12 months for the purpose of possible legal claims.
- Accounting documents — 10 years, as required by the accounting act.
- IP address stored with an order — together with the order; it serves to prove origin in the case of abuse of the form and is deleted together with it.
- Temporary records against flooding the form — 1 hour.
- Records of logins to the administration — 24 hours.
After these periods expire we securely dispose of the data.
5. Who we share the data with
We do not provide your data to third parties for their own purposes and we do not sell it. We share it only with the following categories of recipients:
- Web hosting provider — WebSupport s. r. o., which operates the server on which this site and the e-mail mailbox run.
- Our employees and cooperating technicians — to the extent needed to handle the order and carry out the repair. Each has their own login account and access is password-protected.
- Accountant / tax adviser — to the extent needed to process accounting documents.
- Public authorities — where required by law (for example the tax office, a court, law enforcement authorities).
6. Third-party services on this site
On this site we use two external services. When they are loaded, your IP address and basic technical data of your browser reach their provider.
Google Fonts
The Montserrat and Roboto Slab fonts are loaded from Google’s servers (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com). Google processes your IP address in the process. Google Fonts does not use cookies.
Google Maps
The Contact section has a map from Google Maps embedded. When it loads, Google may place cookies in your browser and process your IP address under its own privacy policy.
The provider of both services is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Transfer of data outside the EU is secured by standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
7. Cookies
This site does not use its own cookies — we do not track visits and we use no analytics or advertising tools.
The only cookies that may reach your browser are Google’s cookies when the embedded map is loaded (point 6). If you do not wish this, you can block cookies in your browser settings — it will not affect the functioning of the site, only the map will not be displayed.
8. Your rights
As a data subject you have the following rights under the GDPR and Act No. 18/2018 Coll.:
- Right of access — to find out whether and what data about you we process, and to obtain a copy of it.
- Right to rectification — to have incorrect data corrected or incomplete data completed.
- Right to erasure — to have data erased if it is no longer needed and no legal obligation to retain it prevents this.
- Right to restriction of processing — in the cases laid down in Art. 18 GDPR.
- Right to data portability — to obtain the data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.
- Right to object — to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
If you request erasure, we will permanently remove the order from the booking system — except for data that we must retain by law (for example accounting documents on a completed repair).
You can exercise your rights by e-mail at info@servis-pc.sk, by phone at +421 944 493 089 or in writing at the registered office address. We will reply as soon as possible, at the latest within one month of receiving the request.
9. Supervisory authority
If you believe that we are processing your data in breach of the law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with:
Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic
Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava 27
Phone: +421 2 3231 3214
