Laptop will not turn on, was dropped, got wet or did you delete files by mistake? In most cases the data can be saved. We transfer photos, documents and work files to a new drive.
When we can help
The device does not start, but the drive may be fine — we pull the data off it.
After liquid or a fall. Bring it in as soon as possible and do not switch it on — corrosion progresses.
A classic drive clicks or the system reports read errors. We treat it as a priority while it is still possible.
Deleted photos, documents or a formatted drive — they can often be recovered.
Neither Windows nor macOS starts, but you need your files. We pull them off.
How the process works
Models we repair
We recover data from laptops (Windows), MacBooks (including soldered SSDs), classic HDD drives, SSDs and external drives and USB sticks. For physically damaged drives we tell you the chance of recovery after diagnostics.
The most important rule when data is lost is to stop using the device — writing to the drive reduces the chance of recovering deleted files. On MacBooks with an Apple chip the data sits on a soldered and encrypted SSD, which complicates recovery, but it is often still possible.
Frequently asked questions
In most cases yes — if a laptop does not turn on, the drive is usually fine and we pull the data off it.
It depends on the condition of the drive. A transfer from a working drive is cheap, recovery from a faulty one is more demanding. We tell you the price in advance, after diagnostics.
Often yes, although it is more demanding than with a replaceable drive. We tell you the chance after diagnostics.
If not much has been written to the drive since, often yes. Bring the device as soon as possible and do not use it.
Yes. We handle files confidentially and only to the extent needed for the recovery.
We do not charge for diagnostics if we carry out the repair — even if the device cannot be repaired. If you decline the repair, diagnostics costs €39 incl. VAT.
