When a screen needs replacing
Black or coloured blotches
Spilled ink, black patches or coloured stripes mean a damaged panel under the glass.
Unresponsive touch
Part of the screen does not respond, “ghost touches” register on their own or touch skips.
Flickering and stripes
The image flickers, vertical stripes light up or part of the display has gone dark.
Detached display
The display lifts from the frame — often because of a swollen battery, which has to be dealt with at the same time.
How the process works
How a screen replacement goes
- Diagnostics. We check whether replacing the glass is enough or the whole panel is needed, and whether the frame is damaged too. Diagnostics is free if you have the repair done with us.
- Price upfront. We tell you the exact price for your model and panel type before the repair.
- Panel replacement. We fit a new display. On models with True Tone we carry over the settings so colours stay accurate.
- Touch and function test. We test touch, brightness, the proximity sensors and, where supported, Face ID around the display.
- Screen protector. We recommend a quality screen protector so the new display lasts as long as possible.

We replace screens on the iPhone 15, 14, 13, 12, 11 (Pro and Pro Max too), iPhone XR, XS, X, iPhone SE and older iPhone 8, 7. Depending on the model and budget we offer quality copies as well as original OLED panels — we explain the difference.
The iPhone uses OLED panels (and LCD on models such as the iPhone 11 and XR). The difference between an original, a quality copy and a cheap panel is clear in brightness and colours — especially on Pro models with 120 Hz ProMotion we recommend a higher panel grade so you do not lose smoothness.

How long does an iPhone screen replacement take?
We replace most models within 24 hours, or while you wait by arrangement.
Will True Tone keep working?
Yes. With quality and original panels we preserve True Tone. On the cheapest copies it may not be available — we always tell you in advance.
What is the difference between an original and a copy display?
An original OLED has accurate colours and full brightness; a quality copy is cheaper with a small difference. The cheapest copies have weaker brightness and colours — we advise what makes sense for your model.
Will a screen replacement affect Face ID?
The Face ID module itself is separate from the display and we transfer it, so it stays functional. If it was damaged by the impact, we let you know.
Will I lose my data when the screen is replaced?
No. We replace the display without touching the storage, so your data stays.
Did your iPhone screen break?
We do not charge for diagnostics if we carry out the repair — even if the device cannot be repaired. If you decline the repair, diagnostics costs €39 incl. VAT.
